This session will assess your dog training goals and create a tailored plan to deliver the results you’re looking for. This is a virtual appointment held via phone or Zoom, and your commitment fee will be fully credited toward any training package or session you choose moving forward.

This is not obedience training. If your dog knows the basics but you are still struggling, the issue is not commands. Behavioral consulting focuses on what is actually driving the behavior, whether that is anxiety, reactivity, impulse control, or a breakdown in communication. Each plan is tailored to your dog, your home, and your routine. Sessions take place where the behavior happens so we can work in real time.

This is a collaborative process. Lasting results come from clients who follow the plan, stay consistent, and show up differently with their dog between sessions. If you are looking for a fully trained dog without involvement, this is not that service.

Each session includes written notes, a clear plan, and homework. You will also have direct access to me between sessions.

The best time to work with a behaviorist is before the problems start. Puppy coaching is not about correcting behavior. It's about shaping it from the beginning. We work on foundational commands, impulse control, and socialization, but the most valuable part of the work is what you learn about how your dog thinks and communicates. Understanding dog psychology early means you're preventing the problems that bring most people to a behaviorist in the first place.

Sessions follow the same structure as behavioral consulting, including done-for-you sessions where I handle the technical work directly with your puppy, so you're not left to figure out the execution on your own. Puppy coaching clients tend to become long term clients. That's not an accident. When the foundation is built well, the relationship between owner and dog keeps developing and the work continues naturally into adolescence, adulthood, and beyond.

For dogs that need more than weekly sessions can provide. Whether the behavior requires intensive immersive work before owner coaching becomes productive, or your schedule doesn't allow for consistent weekly sessions, the Retreat and Train is designed to create meaningful behavioral change in a concentrated period of time.

Your dog gets real-life exposure: urban outings, beach walks, coffee shops, hikes alongside structured enrichment tailored to their specific profile. The goal is not a tired dog. It's a dog that has learned to navigate the world with more calm and confidence.

You receive video updates throughout. When your dog comes home, we do a private coaching session together so you understand exactly what changed and how to maintain it. That session is mandatory. Your involvement at that stage is what makes the results stick.

Pack Walks are way more than a physical activity. It's a canine social gathering, where dogs learn to interact with other dogs and you learn to  strengthen your leadership skills.
